Oscar is a board-certified Physician Assistant with extensive experience caring for patients in both surgical and hospital settings. He completed a post-graduate General Surgery Physician Assistant Fellowship, where he received advanced training in surgery, the da Vinci surgical system, trauma care, and inpatient medicine.
Over the course of his career, Oscar has worked with patients in many surgical specialties, including vascular, cardiothoracic, colorectal, pediatric, neurosurgical, plastic, and acute care surgery. He has experience assisting in complex surgical procedures, caring for hospitalized patients, and helping guide patients through recovery.
At Nebraska Urology, Oscar works closely with our physicians to support patients before, during, and after surgery. His role includes assisting with robotic surgical procedures, providing inpatient care, and helping ensure patients receive high-quality care throughout their treatment journey.
Oscar earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Union Adventist University and completed a post-graduate General Surgery Physician Assistant Fellowship at Albert Einstein School of Medicine in Bronx, New York. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska. His advanced surgical training and broad clinical experience have prepared him to care for patients in a variety of surgical and hospital settings.
